Nintendo is offering to fix the game saves of any player encountering a bug in Metroid Other M which is preventing them from being able to progress past the Desert Refinery room in Sector 3 as the door to the next room remains locked.

“We would like to apologise to any customers who have had this problem,” reads a message from Nintendo Customer Support. “If you have encountered this problem in METROID: Other M then please contact Nintendo Customer Support on [email protected] who will arrange for this problem to be resolved free of charge.”

If you’re yet to play Other M then you’ll find a guide to ensure you don’t run into the locked door here. If you’re already stuck then email the address above.
