Nintendo Switch Sports gets Golf in latest v1.3.0 update, available now

Nintendo has released the latest update for Nintendo Switch Sports, with the latest patch finally adding Golf to the line up of games in the collection.

Golf comes as part of the game’s 1.3.0 update, and is available in both offline and online modes. It includes a whopping 21 courses made up of classics from across the Wii Sports series.

You can play solo, or with up to 8 players teeing off at the same time in the Survival Golf mode. You can check out an updated overview trailer for the game – including the new Golf mode – down below.

The addition of Golf was promised for the game when it was revealed back in February – and scheduled for the Autumn update. It’s just about skirted in at the deadline.

Golf

  • Golf has been added. It can be enjoyed in all modes: Play Globally, Play Locally and Play with Friends.
  • We added a Shot Assist mode in Golf to make it easier for beginners to play. To use it, go to Options → User Settings → Other.
    • This setting only applies to Play Locally and Play with Friends.
    • Please be aware that even if you have Shot Assist mode on, your setting will revert to Normal in Play Globally mode.

  • Several issues have been fixed to improve the gameplay experience.
