Nintendo has no intention of launching a successor to the Wii any time soon, president Satoru Iwata has revealed.
Speaking to Forbes, Iwata said: “We have just introduced the new ‘Legend of Zelda’ to be launched in 2011, which shows that we are not in a hurry to launch the next generation of home console.”
Nintendo’s strong Wii line-up was a highlight of E3, with The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword joined by Kirby’s Epic Yarn, Metroid: Other M, Donkey Kong Country: Returns and Wii Party.
