How to watch
You will be able to watch the event live on Nintendo’s YouTube channel. Per the details shared, the showcase will last “roughly 25-minutes,” and will showcase games coming to the Switch and Switch 2 from “publishing partners”. This means the onus will on third-party games rather than first-party IPs.
We don’t know what will be showcased, but there are rumors. NateTheHate has previously said Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to Switch 2 alongside a current-gen upgrade for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. While Nate is confident of RDR2 on the Switch 2 happening, he isn’t sure whether it will be announced during the Direct or if Rockstar will make the announcement on their own time.
All we can do is wait and see what games are shown off. The Nintendo Directs are almost always fantastic, and we’re eagerly anticipating all of the third-party games set to join Nintendo’s handheld.
