Nintendo has released its end of year financial results, posting sales of more than 1.83 trillion yen and operating profits of more than 555 billion yen.
The platform holder also confirmed annual and life-to-date sales figures for its Nintendo DS and Wii systems. Over the year the Nintendo DS sold 31.18 million units worldwide, bringing its life-to-date figure to 101.78 million.
The Wii sold 25.95 million units over the year, with lifetime sales standing at 50.39 million units worldwide.
For the fiscal year which began on April 1, 2009, Nintendo projects sales of 26 million Wii hardware systems and 30 million Nintendo DS systems.
