Nintendo 3DS’s StreetPass Plaza player limit is increasing from 10 to 100 today, Nintendo has announced. That means you’ll be able to queue up 100 players in your Plaza to use across the various StreetPass mini-games.
It sounds as if the feature may be limited to StreetPass Plaza Premium, however, which requires a £4.49 upgrade. If you don’t upgrade, you may still be stuck with the existing 10 limit.
“Previously, you could only encounter up to 10 players via the StreetPass feature,” Nintendo explains. “But now, by sending Mii characters you’ve met via StreetPass to the Plaza gate, you can encounter up to 100 players.”
Alongside the new player limit, five new StreetPass games will also be available from today, including StreetPass Slot Racer, StreetPass Trader, StreetPass Chef, StreetPass Explorers and StreetPass Ninja. You can choose to download either Slot Racer or Trader for free, with the rest available for £2.69 each. If you want them all, you can grab them in a bundle for £8.09.
