Ninja Gaiden 2, the tough-as-nails actioner from developer Team Ninja, is now available to play on Xbox One via backwards compatibility, Microsoft announced during Inside Xbox last night.

As per the norm, you can now pop in your original Xbox 360 version of the game and start playing. Even better, the game is also enhanced for Xbox One X, too.

In fact, quite a few games are getting support for Microsoft's high-end console. These are Splinter Cell Double Agent, Splinter Cell Conviction, and Splinter Cell Blacklist, as well as Fable 2 and Fable 3.

In case you missed it, Microsoft is releasing a disc-less version of the Xbox One S next month, and has also confirmed plans for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which combines Xbox Live Gold with Xbox Game Pass.
