Konami has announced it will publish Microsoft’s Ninety Nine Nights II for Xbox 360 across Europe this spring.

Set on a ravaged world, players are invited to take on all comers in a series of battles told from the perspectives of five different characters – including humans, elves and goblins. Each of the species has a specific back-story which unfolds as the game progresses, while the various races also bring unique skills to the battlefield.

Each battle will feature huge numbers of enemies, with hundreds able to appear on screen simultaneously. At the end of each battle players will face off against seemingly unstoppable titanic boss characters.

In addition to the story-driven hacking and slashing, N3 II features a two-player co-op mode, enabling players to team up against the oncoming hordes. This mode features online ranking boards highlighting the best fighting duos across the globe.

Ninety-Nine Nights II will be available for Xbox 360 in spring 2010.
