NieR: Automata, the upcoming action RPG from acclaimed development studio Platinum Games, will feature a collaboration with Final Fantasy 15, Square Enix has announced.
Players of NieR will be able to obtain The Engine Blade, as used by FF15’s Noctis, and equip it for use by protagonist 2B. The weapon will alter the evasion effects and damage display to match the style used in Final Fantasy 15.
Similarly, Square Enix has plans to feature elements from the NieR series in Final Fantasy 15. Details will follow at a later date.
NieR: Automata will launch in early 2017.
