Platinum Games' excellent machine-mashing actioner Nier: Automata is coming to the Xbox One, according to fresh reports from JeuxVideo.

Nothing official has been confirmed yet, although Windows Central also backs up these reports, so presumably we'll hear something soon enough. Nier: Automata was originally released on PlayStation 4 and PC in early 2017.

Nier: Automata takes place in the distant future and centres on an epic ruck between otherwordly machines and the remnants of the human race, with players leading the defense as an android and her companions. Much like its predecessor, the game is a Frankenstein's Monster of genres, marrying role-playing, action, adventure, and more into one hugely compelling package.

We put Nier through its paces back when it first came out, and it promptly seduced us with its adrenaline-pumping combat and witty dialogue. In short, it's a bit good, innit, so go grab it on the cheap (or wait for the Xbox One version).
