NieR Automata has been delayed to early 2017, Square Enix has confirmed. The game had previously been due to release this year.
The new date was confirmed in a trailer released for the game earlier today (below), although Square hasn’t yet said why it’s been pushed back. A delay was first rumoured after Square failed to mention the game as one of its “major titles” due for release during its current financial year.
NieR Automata was revealed at last year’s Paris Games Week and is in development exclusively for PS4.
