Creative director and co-founder at Messhof, Mark Essen, has confirmed on the PlayStation Blog that Nidhogg 2Â will be available on PlayStation 4Â from August 15. Those interested will be able to pre-order the game from July 18.
The game is scheduled to be coming to PC, too, but no word on whether or not Steam users will be able to play the fence ’em up on the same day as PS4 players.
Nidhogg 2 looks to be a complete upgrade of the original, and you can see the ambition from the get-go due to the new look. You can check out what the creative director has to say about the new animations and art direction over on the PlayStation Blog.
