Bandai Namco Games has released a new Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom trailer, showcasing a tour of the casino-themed town of Goldpaw, one of the many new areas you’ll visit in Level-5’s upcoming vibrant RPG sequel.

Goldpaw features an unmistakable eastern-flavoured aesthetic, with casinos the backbone of the town’s industry. In fact, gambling plays such a huge part in the affairs of Goldpaw that dice are employed for major decision making and trials.

A centre piece of Goldpaw is a giant statue known as Lady Luck, which has the distinction of rolling the dice in public. However, common folk aren’t allowed to partake in such an exercise; only astrologers are allowed to do so, the top dog being a chap named Pugnacius.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is scheduled for release on PS4 and PC on March 23. Level-5 recently confirmed that the sequel will feature a range of visual improvements for PS4 Pro, and hasn’t ruled out the prospect of bringing the original game to Sony’s five-year-old console.
