Bandai Namco Games has rolled out a new developer diary for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom to celebrate the game hitting gold status. In other words, development has now wrapped and the sequel will soon enter manufacturing ahead of its March release.

The dev diary offers a peak into the development process behind a number of key game features, including the combat system, Kingdom Mode, and Army Battle Mode. Last time around Level-5 shined the spotlight on a new casino-themed city known as Goldpaw.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is scheduled for release on March 23 for PS4 and PC. Level-5 recently confirmed that the highly anticipated sequel will boast a number of fancy visual treats for PS4 Pro owners, and also didn’t rule out the possibility of seeing the first game remastered down the line.
