EA has begun issuing download codes for NHL 17’s closed beta. If you signed up to take part, check your emails to see if you’ve got one.
The emails actually contain three keys – one for you and two to share with friends. Be aware that it’s quite a sizeable download, though, coming in at 17.9GB on PS4. Sadly, I haven’t been able to verify how big the download is on Xbox One.
NHL 17’s beta lets players test out the game’s Online Versus, Creation Zone, EA Sports Hockey League and Hockey Ultimate Team mode ahead of its September launch, and is set to run until next Thursday, August 4.
The full game arrives on PS4 and Xbox One on September 13, with a trial expected to be available one week earlier on EA Access.
