EA has confirmed the development of Need for Speed Shift 2, with the title set for release in the first quarter of 2011 for PC and console platforms.
Given the planned November release of Criterion’s Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, it seems likely Shift 2 will make it to stores in the final third of Q1.
We don’t really know anything about the game just yet, though UK studio Slightly Mad Studios is thought to be back in the driver’s seat.
