Three new DLC packs for Need For Speed: Most Wanted are available to download from Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network now.

The ‘Terminal Velocity Pack’ introduces the Hughes International Airport to Fairhaven City, described by EA as a “huge new world expansion” which offers players “more opportunity [to] race, jump and drift your way to being Most Wanted”.

As well as a new area to explore, Terminal Velocity introduces a selection of “awesome new cars and milestones, new single player game modes and additional multiplayer speedlists”. The pack will set you back 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE and £11.99 on PSN.

In addition, two other packs priced at 800 MSP or £7.99 each introduce a range of new classic cars and exclusive events.

The ‘Movie Legends Pack’ features five cars “from your favourite movies”, including the Aston Martin DBS 2008, Dodge Charger R/T 1970, Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am Special Edition 1977 and Aston Martin DB5 Vantage 1964, as well as a new Most Wanted event where you’ll get to take on and win the Shelby GT500 1967.

Meanwhile, the ‘NFS Heroes Pack’ introduces five of Need for Speed’s “most famous cars” (although at the time of publishing we were unable to verify exactly which ones they were), plus new high speed races and speedruns. You’ll also be able to compete against Razor’s BMW M3 GTR in a new Most Wanted event, which some players will recognise from the original Need For Speed: Most Wanted.

Alternatively, all three packs are available to buy in a bundle pack for 2000 Microsoft Points or £19.99, offering a 30 per cent saving over their standalone price.

The three packs were first leaked yesterday following an update to the PS3 version’s Trophies.

The content will be available to buy on PC via Origin on March 13.
