The “next Spider-Man game” will be revealed during a WonderCon 2011 session on Saturday, April 2 titled “Activision Spider-Man,” reports GameSpot.
The session will feature “all-new Spider-Man video game content,” which will include “exclusive details, screenshots, and videos of the next Spider-Man game.”
Marvel VP of games production TQ Jefferson, Marvel writer Peter David and voice-over actor Josh Keaton (Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions) will be attending the session alongside various members of the Beenox development team.
With The Amazing Spider-Man set to hit theatres July 4, 2012, the new game could well be a movie tie-in, although it’s also plausible that we’ll see an unrelated Spider-Man title hit stores before any movie-licensed product arrives.
