The lovely sexy teaser next-gen Madden pictures EA have been releasing over the last few days already have strong critics – the people actually making the game.
Tiburon Studios are already beavering away on the fancy-pants update to the old, old series and – if reports are to be believed – claim the graphical quality they have achieved already eclipses that of the teaser images shown. So strongly do they feel about this that they have asked for the upcoming advert not to be shown, as it would be a false indication of what the game will actually look like. Madness.
Yadda, yadda – graphics don’t make a game, we know – but it really won’t hurt to have stunningly good-looking games now, will it? And in ten years we can look back and laugh at how we thought it actually looked good. Everybody wins.
