Codemasters appears to be developing an Xbox One and PlayStation 4 title due for release next year, according to the online CV of one of the studio’s employees.
The “undisclosed next-gen title” is listed on the LinkedIn profile of environment artist Carl Middleton, alongside a “2014” date. Middleton has previously worked on F1 titles F1 Race Stars, F1 2011 and F1 2012, and says that he is responsible for “research, prototyping and asset creation for [the] future ‘undisclosed’ title”.
Codemasters has yet to announce its plans for next-gen, but has previously hinted at an PS4/Xbox One version of next year’s F1 2014.
Next-gen DIRT and GRID titles also seem fairly likely.
Codemasters’ next major title, F1 2013, releases on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC this September, and is said to be “wringing the neck” of the current gen.
