According to the latest financial report from Sega Sammy Holdings (via DualShockers), the next chapter in the Yakuza franchise, which stars a brand new protagonist, could be released during the company’s current financial year. In other words, by the end of March 2020.

Sega hasn’t said much about the new Yakuza yet, other than the fact it won’t feature Kazuma Kiryu. Instead, it’ll introduce a new hero in the shape of Kasuga Ichiban, and will be released for the PlayStation 4.

In the meantime, Sega will launch the US and UK version of Judgment in June, while Yakuza Kiwami 2, a full remake of 2006's Yakuza 2, will hit PC next month.
