Absolver, the open world martial arts indie game from ex-Ubisoft devs, has a new video showing off the character customisation. While the customisation for your character’s physical appearance is basic (everyone wears a mask so it kind of doesn’t matter what they look like), the gear you can get has a dizzying number of possible combinations.
All the equipment has very specific stats, which add up to affect your mobility, damage, and different types of damage protection. This is more critical in Absolver than most games, as it can potentially change the efficiency of your attacks, and the combat in Absolver is ridiculously detailed. A change in your efficiency could, in fact, change your entire game.
Absolver is out on August 29 on PC and PS4.
