Nintendo has released a new video comparing Mario Kart 8’s 150cc mode with the upcoming 200cc free update, and as you would expect the racing is a lot faster.
The featured track is Piranha Plant Pipeway, which is completed in approximately 40 seconds on 200cc and 50 seconds on 150cc.
The update will roll out on April 23 alongside the support for extra amiibos. The game’s second premium DLC also launches April 23, featuring eight new courses and a selection of characters.
