Ninja Theory’s indie action game Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has a new trailer ahead of its release in August. More atmospheric than it is a gameplay demo, the Hela trailer shows protagonist Senua trapped in a nightmare.
Facing off against a giant man-monster in a rainstorm, Senua gathers her strength and goes in for a hit. She’s accompanied by disembodied voices, which may in fact be Senua herself, describing her actions and thoughts.
Hellblade is inspired by Celtic and Norse mythology, and gained attention when the devlopers demonstrated ‘real time cinematography‘. Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is out on August 8 for PS4 and PC.
