The new Tony Hawk title teased last week will launch exclusively on mobile platforms, Hawk has revealed.
“We are working on a mobile game now,” Hawk told Bloomberg. “We’re working on a game for mobile devices this year. We’ve never gone exclusively in that direction yet so I’m excited because with the amount of time people are spending on their phones and their tablets playing games, we’ve never had our own game in that space, so I’m excited to provide one finally.”
Hawk let slip on the upcoming title during his radio show last week, with Activision later confirming that it was working with the skateboarding star on a new game. More info on the game will be revealed “soon”.
The last entirely new Tony Hawk title, Tony Hawk: Shred, launched back in 2010. Activision has yet to announce plans for the series return to console.
