Nintendo has announced that New Super Mario Bros. 2 will launch in the UK on August 17.
That’s two days before the Americans get it.
New Super Mario Bros. 2 is a direct sequel to the original DS side-scroller, and sees the return of Tanooki Mario from Super Mario Bros. 3.
The announcement of the game’s release date was made alongside the reveal of the 3DS XL, the revised 3DS hardware that boasts a larger 4.88 inch screen.
