Announced back in October, but missed by the press, Jordan Weisman now founder and CEO of Smith & Tinker has licensed the rights to MechWarrior, Shadowrun and Crimson Skies from Microsoft.

Weisman, founder of the now closed FASA Studio, hasn’t announced his plans for the cult video game franchises. Smith & Tinker isn’t just a video game development studio though, specialising in “connected entertainment products”, including games, books and toys.
