There's a new Stranger Things 3 game on the way, and it will tie into the third season of the popular Netflix show.
Announced last night at The Game Awards, Stranger Things 3: The Game is being developed by BonusXP, the studio behind the first Stranger Things: The Game, which released on mobile.
This new game will be available for 'all platforms,' according a tweet from Netflix. Fittingly, it's a pixellated 16-bit action game, the likes of which you might find filling the arcade in Hawkins, Indiana.

There isn't any word on plot yet, either for the game or for the TV show, but suffice it to say the Upside Down is never content to keep out of our world, and you'll like be doing battle with its denizens.
Players will control several characters from the show, each having different abilities and moves based on their personality.
There isn't a release date for Stranger Things 3: The Game yet, but it will most likely be released around the same time as the show is, in 2019.
