Following the wild success of Prime Video’s Fallout adaptation, most modern Bethesda titles, including Starfield, have been enjoying a massive boost as of late. Naturally, Bethesda has capitalized on this renewed interest by releasing additional content for several games, including Fallout 4, Fallout 76, and the previously mentioned hit interplanetary RPG. And, based on an X (formerly Twitter) post from Geoff Keighley, it appears more goodies will land their way onto Starfield soon.

Although the image Keighley shared seems innocent at first glance, some eagle-eyed Starfield players noticed one tiny but crucial detail. Specifically, viewers saw the panel at the bottom that said: “Starfield Add-ons – Available now.” Of course, this prompted plenty of speculation from fans hungry for more interstellar content, with some hoping that this indicates the arrival of official mod support through Creation Kit and Creation Club.

However, this seems highly unlikely since Bethesda only recently released a major patch in mid-May. Even more improbable is the studio’s launch of Starfield’s highly anticipated Shattered Space DLC, which many hope the studio will shadowdrop during the event. But since the game’s developers have been busy improving the game’s state and providing minor content updates, we wouldn’t get our hopes up on a potential expansion release over the weekend.

It’s also worth noting that this panel may only have appeared because Xbox considers the Starfield Premium upgrade and Skin Pack as add-ons. So, for now, manage your expectations, Settled Systems citizens — even though more content would be nice, you may end up disappointed by a potential lack of news since Bethesda often communicates whenever it’s about to drop new content in its games.

While you wait for Bethesda’s segment at Summer Game Fest, take a look at the best Starfield reactors and the best Starfield armor so you can traverse the game’s perilous planets effortlessly.
