New Star Soccer is to receive headers as part of a series of new features being added to the BAFTA-winning title.
As well as introducing headers to the game for the first time, other updates will include new boots and drinks. These new features will be arriving later this year.
“As New Star Soccer continues to gain this kind of phenomenal acknowledgement it makes me incredibly excited for the game’s future and the ways in which I can further expand it going forward,” said NSS creator Simon Read.
New Star Soccer arrived on mobiles back in March 2012, and has gone on to be downloaded over 2.1 million times.
