According to Shock Till You Drop the next Resident Evil movie, titled Afterlife, has been pushed back from its planned August 2010 release to January 14, 2011.

Comic book vampire thriller Priest starring Paul Bettany will take Afterlife’s summer release slot.

However, according to Resident Evil star Milla Jovovich, the film’s delay is still up in the air, with a Twitter post stating: “RE Afterlife IS NOT officially pushed. There have been talks of pushing it as they r not sure they can have it ready by july. We r trying as hard as we can to still meet the summer deadline though, so for the moment its still on for Aug.”
