A new Marvel video game is currently in development at Second Dinner, a studio comprised of former Blizzard talent.

The developer is currently looking at taking on more staff, with openings now available for a full-time client engineer and technical artist. No further details are available on the mystery Marvel project, although that's a given considering it's barely got off the ground at this point.

Second Dinner also announced that it has drummed up a $30 million minority investment from NetEase, which will facilitate a move to Irvine, CA to open a new office and swell its ranks beyond the studio's current five founders.

Marvel Games' Jay Ong commented: 'The team they’ve assembled at Second Dinner have made some of the greatest games in history. And now, working with the Marvel Games team and playing in the Marvel Universe… It’s going to be Amazing! Or maybe Spectacular! Or Incredible! Or Mighty! Or quite possibly all of the above!'

The Marvel game has been in the works for about six months now, with Second Dinner CCO Ben Brode revealing they're 'starting play-testing.' No platforms have been announced at this point.
