US video game magazine Nintendo Power has revealed some new information concerning Mario Kart Wii. The game was first announced at E3 earlier this year and has since been confirmed to feature 12-player online support.
New information to come out of Nintendo Power includes confirmation of 16 new tracks which will be joined by a host of classic tracks from Mario Kart titles from the past. The game will also feature a bunch of new weapons which will supplement series favourites like lighting bolts, mushrooms and shells.
Mario Kart Wii is currently pencilled in for a Q2 2008 release.
