EA has today announced that the team at DICE has created a brand-new map for Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142. The map will be available this month for Battlefield 2 players and will be released for 2142 in the coming months.
For Battlefield 2 the new map features the Conquest game mode while the 2142 version features Titan mode and introduces the new Double Assault Lines game mode. DICE says Highway Tampa is the most vehicle intense map released to date.
The open beta for Highway Tampa began on June 5 for Battlefield 2, with the 2142 beta said to start very soon.
