It would appear a new Halo 3 test is underway, although this time is only open to official game testers. Xbox LIVE users noticed that certain gamers were enjoying a new title called Halo 3 Epsilon and later an anonymous email appears to have confirmed exactly what these lucky people have access to.
The first thing to note is that this test is of an almost final version of Halo 3 and includes six multiplayer maps: Snowbound, High Ground, Valhalla, Last Resort, Epitaph and Sandtrap.
Other cool stuff included in the test is a single Campaign level playable in co-op and full use of the Film functionality.
It’s highly unlikely that this latest Halo 3 test will be accessible to normal folk, but then again Halo 3 is now only around six weeks from release and Xbox 360 gamers have the wonderful BioShock to keep them occupied until then.
