The mysterious Island of Rhodes website, which has previously revealed the GoW HD cheat code, has now spelled out “God of War: Chains of Olympus“, thought to be the title of Sony’s upcoming PSP game.
A rep told Pro-G this morning that Sony “can’t confirm anything about GOW PSP at this time.” There is, however, a hint in the game’s title. It’s expected that the true sequel, God of War 3, will be released for the PlayStation 3, where as the PSP game will fit elsewhere into the series. The lack of a “III” at the end of the revealed name suggests we’re looking at the PSP game.
With the game’s title now public knowledge it shouldn’t be too long before Sony makes an official announcement.
The PAL release of God of War II will hit stores this Friday and check back on Pro-G this afternoon for a full review.
