Sony has announced that God of War will be getting a New Game+ mode, a feature that has been much-requested among fans since the game launched back in March.

New Game+ will arrive in a future update, although right now Sony's not committing to an actual release date.

As you have probably guessed, God of War's New Game+ mode will allow you to lug all your hard-earned upgrades and gear across to a fresh adventure. However, an interesting caveat is that the difficulty will be increased, so it won't be a cake walk.

Still, it's good to know that Sony is giving you the opportunity to carry over all your armour, upgrades, pommels, talismans, and more to a new game if you fancy tackling Kratos' daddy epic all over again. And why not? It's probably PS4's best game in years.

Sony just wrapped its E3 showcase where it offered 'deep dives' into the likes of Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding, Spider-Man, and The Last of Us: Part II.
