Sony Japan has announced the imminent release of Dark Mist, a new action shooter title for the PlayStation Network from Game Republic, the creator of Genji and Folklore.
The Japanese website, translated by IGN, reveals that players will take on the role of the warrior of light, Altemis, and must battle to stop the demon king. Altemis has a variety of attacks at her disposal, including a light arrow, bombs and special attacks such as Split Star, Meteor Flare and Lightning Comet.
The game has come out of nowhere and is scheduled for release on the Japanese PlayStation Store on November 11. Expect a European release to follow, although no date has been announced.
