Fortnite’s Galactic Battle season is nearing its epic finale as players are now riding in a Star Destroyer and eliminating their enemies from the skies. However, right before the season ends, players are already finding ways to exploit the game and level up faster to finish their Battle Pass.

These exploits range from XP glitches to game-breaking mechanics that disrupt classic Battle Royale gameplay. Players who use these glitches can rack up kills and secure Victory Royales with little effort, infuriating the community and generating debates over fairness.

Epic Games has been chastised for its tardy response to these concerns, despite the fact that patches are frequently released to solve key flaws. The newest debate revolves around the “headless glitch,” a weird visual exploit that has been making waves on social media and ruining matches.

Fortnite’s new Headless Glitch is ruining lobbies with players without a head

The latest Fortnite “headless glitch,” recently highlighted in a post by Llamalaxy on X, has sparked both excitement and alarm among players because of its unnerving visual appearance and probable gameplay implications. This glitch enables a player’s character model to appear without a head, providing a disturbing, confusing presence during matches.

Unlike previous headless bugs, like the 2020 exploit associated with Skye’s Battle Pass skin, which caused T-posing and visual anomalies during emotes, this new exploit is more than just cosmetic. The headless issue apparently disables the headshot hitbox, allowing players who abuse it to avoid being headshotted, giving them a major competitive advantage.

To activate the glitch, players must first locate a Disguise Booth, such as the one between Brutal Boxcars and Pumped Power, and equip the Mandalorian Jetpack before entering. As soon as you exit it, the combination activates the headless effect in public matches, which eliminates the headshot hitbox. According to the post, exploiting glitches is perilous as it violates Epic’s conditions and could result in account bans.

Epic Games has yet to comment on this exploit, but its track record of fixing comparable issues, such as the 2020 problem, which was resolved in weeks, suggests that a response is on the way. The glitch’s emergence has sparked arguments about fairness, as it allows exploiters to dominate lobbies with no risk, compromising Battle Royale’s competitive integrity.
