Far Cry Instincts Next Chapter for Xbox will feature an entirely new story, characters and game features, improving on the critically acclaimed Far Cry Instincts on the Xbox. Far Cry Instincts Predator for the Xbox 360 will feature both Far Cry Instincts Next Chapter and an enhanced version of the original Far Cry Instincts game.

The power of the Xbox 360 will allow for enhanced graphics giving more life to the already realistic natural environments. The game will also take advantage of the Xbox 360’s multi-core technology for improved performance and will be fully optimised for high-definition. New enemy and vehicle artificial intelligence is said to make for improved chase scenes and more thought will be needed when taking on enemies, especially as more enemies are now able to be displayed on screen.

Far Cry Instincts quickly became one of the most talked-about games of 2005 because of its blend of high graphical quality, wide open environments and immersive gameplay elements,” said John Parkes, EMEA Marketing Director for Ubisoft. “Ubisoft is confident that Far Cry Instincts Predator for Xbox 360 and Far Cry Instincts Next Chapter for Xbox will be among the best games this year.

Both games are scheduled for release in spring 2006.
