Since the release of Diablo 4 2.0.4, Blizzard’s ARPG has been met with huge crashing issues on PC. While Blizzard has released a band-aid patch for users to crash less often, the game is still fraught with issues.

With the arrival of a new patch, many Diablo 4 players hoped the game’s constant crashing would be fixed on PC. However, players have noticed that the latest patch hasn’t fixed anything, not even the swathe of co-op bugs Blizzard doesn’t know how to fix.

Diablo 4 won’t stop crashing

As revealed in the latest patch notes, Diablo 4 2.0.4c has moved to address numerous stability issues within Blizzard’s game. The sparse patch notes claim that “various stability improvements” have been made to the RPG, but hardcore players are still noticing massive crashing issues on PC.

While Vessel of Hatred patches started off strong with revamped rewards just days after launch, fans are upset at the current technical state of the game. With crashing rampant on PC, the brilliant action role-playing game is harder to play than ever before.

“They need to try again. Game is still crashing,” one fan said on the Diablo 4 subreddit. “My game still crashes every 1-2 first log ins then lets me in the next.. then crashes the next restart then works again,” said another.

Some players have even noticed more crashing after the 1GB patch hit their system. Reports from fans who weren’t affected by the last wave of crashes have now been hit with the spreading technical issue.

“Damn, went from working fine to getting crash every hour,” one player reported. “Since the fix came out I crash within a moment entering the game,” said another.

Work to be done

Blizzard has already publicly addressed the crashing issues on PC for Diablo 4 as thousands of players express their upset. However, an official crashing fix has yet to come to the game despite being of utmost importance. With the game’s crashing issues still prevalent on PC, players are struggling to play for more than an hour at a time.
