The financial report didn’t make good reading from a financial point of view, the publisher posting a loss of $185 million for the financial year; however, the future does look much rosier.
In 2007 Take-Two has the sure fire hit GTA: IV to look forward to, along with other possible blockbusters BioShock and The Darkness. The report also reveals that there’s more from the Civilization series coming in 2008.
“In addition to the licensed 2K Sports lineup, starting in 2008, 2K will have new content based on its Civilization franchise and other products,” reads the press release.
It’s not clear if this means an entirely new game in the Civilization franchise or an expansion. We’re sure to hear more over the coming year.
