Netflix has released three new character introduction trailers for their upcoming drama serial based on The Witcher, introducing each of the three main characters ahead of the series' premiere later this month.
Geralt of Rivia, Yennefer of Vengerberg and Princess Cirilla each get a featurette all to themselves, with each video backed by a description of the character given by each character's respective actor: Henry Cavill for Geralt, Anya Chalotra for Yennefer and Freya Allan for Ciri. Each one gives us an idea of the journey we can expect to see the characters take over the first season of the show.
The Witcher is set to premiere on Netflix on December 20, just in time for a cosy Christmas binge on the sofa around the fireplace. And it looks like we might be in for the long haul – we're already guaranteed a second season, while the showrunner is hoping to film seven.
