Netflix has removed over 400 titles from its UK streaming service, including a selection of classic movies and TV shows.
416 titles were deleted from the streaming catalogue yesterday, with even more due to be removed later in the month. Among those deleted are action flicks The Rock and Con Air, as well as the service’s entire collection of South Park episodes.
Netflix regularly adds and removes titles to its streaming service throughout the year, but it’s unusual to see such a large collection of films disappearing simultaneously. The company has not provided a reason for their removal, but it’s likely due to expired licenses.
Netflix is available on multiple video game consoles including Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Wii U.
