A Need for Speed: The Run demo will be released October 18, a month ahead of the game’s November 18 launch.
The demo places Jack in the driving seat of a Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni, in a desert environment. Players will also get to put their foot down in a 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S if they recommend the demo to a friend.
This will be the second time console gamers get the chance to sample the wonders of the Frostbite 2 engine, following the open beta of Battlefield 3 which launches today.
