Need For Speed: Most Wanted’s iOS companion app will transform into a new Need For Speed Network app next Tuesday, November 19, EA has announced, simultaneously removing support for last year’s racer.

EA claims that the update “will not affect your Need For Speed: Most Wanted game at all,” but it will mean that players will not be able to view their Most Wanted stats via the app or upload a new profile picture into either the console or PC versions of the game.

EA warns that if players want to change their profile picture they must do so before November 19.

Those who wish to continue using the app to keep track of their Most Wanted stats can choose not to update the application, too, but must ensure that auto-update is set to off in their iOS settings.

“The purpose of the all new Need for Speed Network companion app is to provide really cool features to our Need for Speed fans – Starting with Rivals,” said EA. “Moving forward the Need for Speed Network will add support for every Need for Speed title as well as keeping support for previous titles so it becomes one complete Need for Speed Companion App for our fans.”

Need For Speed: Rivals launches on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox One on November 22, and on PlayStation 4 on November 29.
