Need for Speed made $63 million worldwide during its opening week and has seen this figure double to $126.7 million after only 10 days, reports IMDB’s Box Office Mojo.
Whilst the Aaron Paul flick has stalled in the US, earning just $30.5 million to date, the international takings have ensured the movie has easily passed the $100 million mark.
Much of NFS’s takings have come from China which so far accounts for $41.7 million, just under a third of the combined total.
Expect the movie to speed past the $150 million milestone next weekend.
