The PC version of 2012 racer Need For Speed: Most Wanted is available to download for free on Origin for a limited time.

The game is the latest to join EA’s ‘On The House’ range, which has previously seen titles like Dead Space, Syndicate, Theme Hospital and Battlefield 3 made temporarily available to download for free.

Once it’s been downloaded it’s added to your library forever, meaning you can play it for as long as you want free of charge. It isn’t clear how long the game will be available for, though, so if you want it, head through to Origin and add it to your library.

Need For Speed: Most Wanted is the latest game from Burnout creators Criterion, and is considered by some as a pseudo-sequel to 2008’s Burnout Paradise. The game was well received by critics upon release for its high-speed arcade racing and well-crafted open-world city, scoring a 9/10 in our review.

Criterion’s next game, an extreme sports-inspired open-world racer, was announced at E3 2014 and could make an appearance at this summer’s EA Play.
