The Season 2 drop is an extensive one. NBA 2K23 wanted to not only provide some fun new content to delve into, but wanted to bring out the spirit of Spooky Season and did just that in this new Season 2.

We breakdown the details.

MyCAREER

NBA 2K23 has continued to do everything it possibly can to bring their MyCAREER experience to life like no other. And the way they do so, is by adding in events and altering the environmental scenery that brings a refreshing level of engagement fans can really enjoy.

In MyCAREER, players will now get to experience newly designed ‘Wild West’ themed courts and designs throughout the landscape, symbolic of the new season. In addition, there’s plenty of all-new rewards fans will have access to, including a Skeleton outfit, new jumpshot meters and releases, and, as illustrated in the photo above, a Level 40 Jabbawockeez outfit.

To bring out the spirt of Halloween, NBA 2K23 will also be hosting a handful of events for fans to participate in and will provide a handful of select locations where players can reap some festive rewards.

Lastly, hip-hop/rap legend J. Cole has played a major role in this year’s edition of the game, and NBA 2K23 has continued to embrace the influence he continues to have on the sport and the game. Fans will be able to get a new selection of Dreamville apparel, including hoodies, t-shirts, and more.

MyTEAM

A brunt of Season 2’s new content, is featured in NBA 2K23 MyTEAM. With a vast new selection of rewards and players you can unlock for your lineups, Season 2 is filled with a lot of great material for fans to look forward to.

First and foremost, the Level 40 reward for Season 2 is none other than a Pink Diamond 96 overall card of cover athlete, Devin Booker. If you’ve played with any of the available Devin Booker cards in MyTEAM so far (sapphire, ruby, etc), you’ll understand firsthand the magnitude of having a card like this in your lineup. Booker has one of the smoothest jumpshots in the game, and once you get a feel for it, it’s not hard to pick your opponents a part with lethal shooting across the court.

Booker isn’t the only standout you can acquire in Season 2. At Level 32, fans can secure the Amethyst Zion Williamson card from the Season 1 Intensity Pack drop. And to start off the season, fans will also get a Free Agent Nikola Jokic card as well.

Along with these new rewards, NBA 2K23 also updated their Moments Agendas and the slew of great prizes you can get, which do include Moment Rewards Players. To maximize your ability to claim all of the great prizes that come with Moments, fans will also have the chance to complete Moments Rewind groups that will be added into the Skill Challenges section every Wednesday. Completing these groups will also help you fill out your Trophy Case collections.

On top of more new ways to complete Trophy Case sets, NBA 2K23 MyTEAM will also be including a bi-weekly drop of themed cards for fans to secure. And of course, Halloween will be the emphasis to start.
