NBA 2K23 MyTEAM: Zen Pack Released

With the winter season steadily kicking into gear, comes a sense of quiet and peacefulness as the days get shorter and the snow provides a blanket over the noises we encounter in life. Well NBA 2K23 felt it was only fitting to introduce a new pack based on this very theme for their MyTEAM community, calling it the Zen Pack.

NBA 2K23 released the new pack in-game today at 11AM ET / 4PM GMT, presenting a set of seven new players (nine cards in total) that have proven to be some of the most calm and collected talents the NBA has seen.

Along with these players, comes a three-part challenge that will reward you with a free Zen Pack upon completing each of its three tiers. Each part of the challenge does increase in difficulty, making you earn the free pack you can secure.

Featured Player

The NBA 2K23 MyTEAM Zen Pack Featured player is one of the greatest centers to ever play the game, Shaquille O’Neal.

During his prime, Shaq was virtually untouchable in the paint and gobbled up rebounds like no other. His emphatic dunks and tenacious blocks are still some of the greatest to this day, and NBA 2K23 felt it was only justified to honor his legacy by making him their featured player of this pack.

In addition, this O’Neal item is the first featured pack player to receive a 97 overall Galaxy Opal card in NBA 2K23. All others consisted of 95 or 96 overall pink diamonds. Since Shaq is the featured player, he also comes with a Diamond and Amethyst version as well.

The new Zen Pack comes with a three-part challenge that offers fans a great opportunity to earn some extra rewards. Once you complete all three tiers of the challenge, you will receive a free Zen Pack.

1. Play Triple Threat game to 21 points against Amethyst Zen theme team on semi-pro
2. Win the game

Zen Challenge – Part 2

1. Play Triple Threat game to 21 points against Diamond Zen theme team on pro
2. Win the game and record 2 dunks with a player

Zen Challenge – Part 3

1. Play a four-quarter game (5 minute quarters) against Zen theme team on all-star
2. Record 12 rebounds as a team
